To attend any practice session, students must complete the following:
IMLeagues Participation Form
Before you attend any practice, USC requires you to join our club on IMLeagues and complete the Club Sports Participation Form. It only takes 5 minutes. For a refresher on how to join our team on IMLeagues, click here.
At the top there should be a green box with a link to the form. If it says Verified, you’re good, but if it says Required, please click and complete the form. This is what a verified form looks like. If you need help, bring your insurance information to practice and we’ll walk you through it.
Alumni, Faculty, Staff, and Guests will be required to complete paper waivers.
NOTE: Practices are subject to change due to weather, instructor/coach availability, or other circumstances. Any changes will be announced in advance.
PED Practice (All Levels)
When: 5:00-8:00 PM Wednesday/Friday
Where: Physical Education Department (PED) South Gym
First two practices are free for beginners! It is recommended for First Timers (signed up for First Timer Lessons) to arrive early to get set up with equipment. Returning archers are also encouraged to arrive early to help set up the range and equipment. Beginner and Intermediate Lessons will be held at the start of practices throughout the semesters.
Team Practice (Intermediate/Advanced)
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:00 – 10:00 PM
Where: Rancho Park Archery Range
When: Sundays 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Where: Pasadena Roving Archers Range
After sufficient experience at PED Practice, you can express your interest in becoming part of the Team. During Team Practices, you will receive direct guidance from our certified instructors and coaches on advance equipment and technique in preparation for competitions. If you are not interested in competition, but want further development, or you are unable to attend PED practice, contact us to discuss options.
Collegiate Joint Practice (All Levels)
Joint Practice takes place on occasional weekends at other college campuses around Southern California.
For example, the USC and UCSD teams participate in fun ice-breakers and team building exercises, and support each other in strengthening archery skills.
Carpools are arranged to assure as many archers are able to go as possible. All levels of experience are welcome, but you MUST have completed the safety lesson at a previous practice to attend this one.
